## Methodology

Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2). 5 of the 21 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 16 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 2 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere. The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in GBP (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 56 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded. The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): one row per approved premises per licensing authority, joined across authorities into the first national count of licensed ceremony venues by district, style and outdoor permission - each authority publishes only its own list and nobody joins them; beside it the registrar's own fee for that district, so the statutory floor of a wedding is a number per district rather than a national average; and the register's INFLOW and OUTFLOW from the 21-day public-notice lists, which is the only measure of whether the licensed venue market is growing or shrinking
